I really don't know that much about Android Auto, but I can access my music library and use it's map app. My question is, can you watch HBOMax while at a 30 minute charging visit? I realize that might be an issue as someone might use it while driving, but I have no such intention.
So, anyone know one way or another if you can get video on the EQS while charging?
I had a less then ideal experience at the dealer being there about 5 hours to buy the car and leaving with only a 44% charge. They couldn't answer basic questions or think to use their Level3 charger. As I left I asked them to point me toward an Electrify America L3 station. He couldn't locate one at all. When I went home I googled it and found 2 stations with 4 L3 chargers. It worked perfect. He suggested I use one of the many L2 charging stations available. I asked if I should drive there, Uber home and Uber back the next day to pick up my car?
As I left the dealer I was worried I made a mistake buying the car, but after I seen the 30 minute EA L3 charging work perfect, I now think I will really like the new car. I just want to figure out how to keep myself occupied while charging.

I don't have an android phone, but I know with Apple CarPlay there is no video streaming functionality. So to watch a movie you have to do it in the EQS web browser which will require you to sign up to a data plan. It will prompt you to do that on the web browser when you try to use it. Once it is connected to a data plan ($240 a year), you can log into a streaming service and stream from the browser. I have been able to stream Disney Plus and Youtube. I haven't tried HBO so I don't know if HBO is compatible.

Thanks! I might just load some of my movies (ripped from DVDs) to a mSD card and watch on a 10" tablet. Most of my driving is local so I will usually charge from home. I just wanted something for road trips.
