580 finally shipped!
Just heard from dealer that my 580 finally shipped from Germany a couple of days ago. No idea how long transit is. I’ve asked for the ship name. This was for a fully loaded 580 that I ordered in October. No major deletes…

It takes about 8-10 days to reach Baltimore and probably close to 3 weeks to reach a California port. Then, once it reaches the port, there could still be a waiting time of between 1-3 weeks before it’s transported to the dealer.

What model year are your cars? I have a 2023 580 Magno grey sitting at the port for over 2 weeks waiting on ship assignment. My build date was 20 July. How long were your cars waiting to get on a ship?

They talk about constraints on shipping, etc for the delays, but I live close by a VPC for Volkswagen, Porsche etc. I can see the car carriers from my golf course. This is the port the ship that sank was heading to. Well, I can say they must be producing enough of those cars because I nearly always see at least one ship a day at the port. 2 were there yesterday. There doesn’t seem to be any shortage of ships on this end.

Shipping system updates delayed
So, my dealer told me my 580 shipped a couple of days ago based on his system. He just called and told me that it's now actually at the Baltimore VPC! Apparently there was an 11 day delay in shipping updates... So now waiting for a carrier to the dealer.

Just found out today finally got a ship assignment. Been sitting at port since build. Can’t tell which ship till it’s loaded.

Yes, ours is a 2023. If the dealer gave you the VIN, purchase the window sticker from https://monroneylabels.com/ Our total MSRP is $138,100. It took about 3 days for the VIN to register with Monroney before the sticker could be printed.

Finally got some good news. My 580 is being loaded on the Themis as we speak and due into Baltimore on September 4. Hopefully will be a nice September 9 birthday present.

How much ADM is tyopical on a 2023 EQS? My dealer says +$25k, or more. I guess I will find out when it arrives.
