Check the car interior for a pellet.
If so, need to report this to the police, especially if this happened near your home.
Mine is slightly larger than the head of a pin right in the center of the crack. The crack developed overnight. I didnt even notice it.
I hope it lasts till it gets replaced its not like I can do a MacGyver on it. Luckily its only the outer pane.

Yes I see the impact points on both. It is surprising though. I have never had a side impact damage incident in any car I have owned.
The only time I experienced it was on vacation in Spain in the late 90s when someone broke into our rental car to steal a sweater and a bag of madeleines.
