I plan on charging in a metal barn/garage where I store my cars/trucks and wonder what sized system others may have used just for a EV. Already have a 50Amp set up on “city” power and 50KW back up generator but Solar has me interested also.
I realize many variables such as how often I might charge, amount needed to fill the battery to 80% and amount of sunlight etc., etc….

I have no personal experience but I have noticed some local entrepreneurs here in my city are offering this kind of 'solar-hybrid' system for sale.
Some key figures of this setup:-
-four 2m x 1m panels, each 350W
-can output 3-phase 13A
-minimum 9kW battery for storage
-system connected to local power grid, thus any excess power will be sold back to recover the cost of the system (if your local utility company has this arrangement)
