Wireless charging for iPhone 14 Pro?

Wireless charging for iPhone 14 Pro?
I’m having trouble wirelessly charging my iPhone 14 Pro. I think it’s because the camera housing on the back side of the phone sticks out a bit and the phone doesn’t make proper contact with the charging pad. Is there any way this can be fixed? Or am I missing something?

I doubt that is the problem. I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max and in my GMC Acadia the wireless charging works flawlessly.I have the standard apple MagSafe silicon case. I have papers, cords etc between the phone and the charging tray and it charges fine. It doesn’t have to be right up against the pad for the charger to work. Now if it’s 1/2” away it doesn’t charge but I’ve put it on top of my charging wire for my watch and it works fine. I would think it would be the same for the EQS, but who knows.

I also have a 14 Pro and it's just super finicky about placement on the charging pad, needing to be perfectly centered. Even when I've gotten it to work, I noticed that charging speeds are super slow so I've resorted to plugging in my phone.

My 14 max pro only charges wirelessly when the camera is towards the front of the vehicle. Crazy I know but it works for my car! Good luck.

Agree. Super finicky! My old iPhone XS Max never had a problem. Seems like Apple wants you to use a cable or magnetic charger to charge the iPhone 14’s. I have the same problems with a charging pad at home.

I have no problem with charging my iPhone 14 Pro in an Otterbox, either in my EQS or on my wireless charger at home. I do put the camera end in first in the EQS, so it is toward the front of the car, which just kind of seems logical to me..... Furthermore, I have never had a problem with any of my iPhones charging in any of my MBs or other cars. Just lucky, I guess?
