Control EQS by gestures

Control by gestures or whatever they call it at MB. It's an old technology and soon to be obsolete IMHO. Anyhow it was carried forward from older models into EQS.
My question here is how to set it up and how to use it. All I found in the User Manual is a general description how it monitors my body and movements and guessing what I want to do.
Sounds good but it doesn't work. I was able to turn on/off the reading light by moving my hand up, but this doesn't work anymore. Waving my arm backwards managed to open the sunroof but waiving in the opposite direction doesn't close it.
Can anyone explain or point to a good tutorial of how to train and use the system?
Thanks.

That was a cool demo. Are there more demos available?

Demo is cool however my 2023 EQS 450 doesn’t show the settings wheel. All I can do is enable/disable the feature. Nothing works anymore even when the feature is enabled. Simple gesture to turn on reading light that is part of all teasers doesn’t work anymore.

A few more here:

And a question: do US cars have the "Memory parking assist" feature activated? My 223 manual covers it but seems it is market dependent like the dash cam (which is not available in my country but is available on some other EU countries). Wonder if they are flipping a coin when deciding on features to each market/country.

No memory parking is not available in the US. I’m very interested in it but no luck. Folks at another forum claim that it is not available anywhere in the world.
