What to do?

Say I drive from my house in Ft Worth to Whitecap Beach, Padre Island Texas. It's 435 miles one way. So I can't make it to San Antonio so I have to stop at Round Rock to charge back up to 89 percent. Then drive to San Antonio,Texas to charge back up to 80 percent. That should be enough to get me to Corpus Christi, Texas. All I want to do now is surf fish for six or seven hours and go back home. Oppps, no level 3 chargers b/t Corpus Christi and San Antonio. Lots of cuss words at this point, so I won't make the trip much less stay overnight in some overpriced hotel with maybe one ev charger that might/might not work. Large vacuum cleaner sound at this point.
Solution: take the Mercedes gas and get there in five and three quarters hour......fish.....go back home in five and three quarters hour. No gasing up in between end points. Car goes over 525 miles per fillup and you can drive 80 to 85 mph all the way . EV'S are still just regional cars and not much more than that.
Just imho and I'm sure others have their own opinions.
Totally agree, and so doe my son with his Taycan in Tucson - I've felt this way from the beginning, and it's why we kept our '18 S560.
