Sorry to hear but no real surprise. On my C63 I battled with MB for two years trying to get the wifi in the car to work, three visits and countless days that the car spend at the dealership and no joy. The Cell provider blamed MB, MB blamed them and I was in the middle paying the $25.00 a month for the service BTW it was crap when they used ATT and even bigger crap when they transitioned the service to TMobile.
In the end I gave up and just got a portable hotspot from Verizon that I keep in the car connected to the USB so it will stay charged. Same price as the service provided by MB, granted it does not integrate with Mercedes Me but I have wifi for my phone and my sons tablet.
good luck and keep us posted on your progress, BTW I contacted MBUSA and filed a complaint. It got their attention and they did try to fix it, gave me loaners while they had the car but in the end nothing...
