The meaning of that is, I can't travel the 435 miles from home to Whitecap Beach, Corpus Christi, Texas and get back home the same day. I see NO fast chargers in Corpus Christi, Texas. I do not stay overnight in some fleabag hotel and charge at level 2 chargers.

it's just a town/regional car imho and not much more. I'm keeping it for when WTI gets up to 100-150 smackers.

Had two Tesla S Models and their range is NOT 405 miles unless you put it on a cargo plane and fly it 405 miles. Might as well be comfortable in the city in a EQS vs a Tesla buckboard. Hey! How about putting that 4.0 liter from the S Class into the EQS? and keeping the noise at the same leverl? .....jk
Really like your metaphors andl descriptions;
much of it applies to me in our small 3rd class KY city - population <10,000.
HEE-HAW 👍😀‼️

My over-the-road trip don’t exceed 225 miles so I have no problems with range.

Agree. I occasionally drive to Corpus Christi from San Antonio to have a seafood lunch at one of the restaurants we like down there, and then back home. And that is a 288 mile long haul in my opinion!
