I received earlier today a notification about a software for the communication module being available. I downloaded and it finished. No info on what changed. here is the screen after the update.
I am on version RL_NTG7_E329_501_22411AC3
anyone else got this or have more info about it?

I received notice of this update 3/24. The car and I were not home at the time, so I figured I'd apply the update when I got home. But after I drove home the app reported that the update auto-installed. No issues.

I also got this update today. Got it while driving outside. Based on the text it sounds like they are updating something so that we can get updates more regularly. Let's see

Seems like the phone icon is different. Also, I drove to my mailbox without my seatbelt on and it beeps a lot now.

Interesting, do you like the new icon more or the old one? The latter change might be annoying but I guess seatbelt should had been fasten in general, I heard people complaining about the blinker volume too low I think MB mixed it up.

Don't know if it is a coincidence but I noticed some additional services in Mercedes Me (Vehicle Settings, Vehicle Displays, Light Settings and Route Settings) immediately after the OTA communication module software update.

Those services have been there on MercedesMe app for a while now, not part of this update.

Today, there’s a message on top of the Mercedes me connect apps on my iPhone that says “new software updates successfully installed.” This is in addition to the communication module software update that was installed on March 28 in my 580.

There’s no explanation about what today’s software updates are all about. Does anyone know what the deal is?

Thank you. I just checked. Mine was also updated yesterday and is not specific either.
My communication module update was installed on March 24 in my 580 instead of your update on March 28.

I got both the update and the message as above. I can't tell any difference in anything. It was working well before and continues to do so (knock on wood!).

Yes, the blinker volume has definitely increased. I can now plainly hear it.
