Tesla to J1772 adapter that locks on the Tesla side
Can anyone recommend Tesla to J1772 adapter that has a lock on the Tesla side?
Multiple brands adapters are available on Amazon to allow charging EQS on Tesla Level 2 chargers.
They are known as Tesla to J1772 adapters.
I couldn't find any among them that locks the Tesla plug. They all have latches that latch the Tesla plug against fall off, however they do not prevent malicious disconnect by a person. Some have "keys" that lock the adapter on the EQS side, but this while may be useful for other cars is not necessary for the EQS specifically as EQS does lock the plug when charging.
Unlike Tesla supercharges that have very short cables, the Level2 chargers come with long cables and it is not impossible for another car to park nearby and hijack the cable. Overnight charging at hotels is crucial for the travel plans and it may have serious consequences if someone disconnects your car , especially if it happens in areas like Wyoming, Montana, Dakotas, where fast public chargers are still very rare and there is no substitute for overnight charging.

Teslatap Mini has two lockable "holes" - so you can lock both sides with two padlocks.
It's not cheap but it is a quality product.
