Wireless CarPlay intermittently not working

Wondering if anybody had the same issue. I have a 2022 EQS 450+.

About 30% of the time wireless CarPlay does not work and the car connects as a Bluetooth phone. The only way I found to resolve this is to turn the car off and back on.

has anybody else had this issue, and if so, what’s the fix?

Have also noticed the same thing intermittently, maybe a little less, but I rarely use CarPlay anymore unless I am using Waze to travel longer distances. Some of my other vehicles are similarly finicky with wireless CarPlay. The wired CarPlay ones don’t seem to have the same difficulty.

Most cars with wireless CarPlay cannot use wired CarPlay.

No Mercedes yet
I've occasionally had the same problem - and found that the problem is most likely my phone (in my case, an iPhone 13 Pro), not the car. Specifically: If I have my iPhone sitting in the wireless charging station for a long time, it gets quite hot - and that's when wireless CarPlay can stop working. The solution was to remove the iPhone from the wireless charging station, to let it cool down for a while.
