Does anyone know?
How to access the screen trunk button? It shows automatically when Im in a place that I frequently open the trunk but I have no idea how to access it otherwise. Weird.

Didn't know this feature existed. Can you take a shot of the screen/message you are getting.

I know the surround view camera can be programmed to come on based on one's location but didn't know the same was true for the trunk.

I have no idea how it got there. It just started showing up when I got to a place I routinely open the trunk. Ive looked through the whole system and can't find it anywhere. I know that cars with automatic doors have a whole screen to open and close the doors but the system has never been available in the US.

According to the manual, I think you should be able to open the trunk by touching the screen. I guess this is in lieu of reaching down to the button on the driver's door?

2019 SL550/2023 EQS 580 SUV
That would make 5 ways on my 580 SUV to open the trunk….
1. Key fob.
2. Screen.
3. Drivers door button.
4. Manual button on trunk.
5. Motion sensor under bumper.
Can you say redundant? 😊
