THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control
May be the rear AC vents in the pillars come with the Thermotronic AC option? I noticed that your rear centre AC vents and controls are different from mine (mine is the Thermotronic option).
Its not rocket science guys. Cars that do not have 4 zone climate control do not have rear vents on the B pillar
Correct. Very disappointing. Huge back seat with only 2 tiny vents in the middle. I don't need 4 zone, but the rear seat area gets little to no air circulation without the pillar vents. And on top of that it's a hatchback, so the rear seat area is really the rear seat + trunk, and only has 2 tiny center vents. Terrible cut-back Mercedes made IMO.
I did a little video recently when we went on a 2 week trip, to see what the discharge would be while it was sitting. The results were interesting. I left it at 80% and came back to it still being at 80%. Was parked inside the garage, unlocked, and we had people walking by it multiple times a day dog-sitting while we were gone.
