EQS SUV 580 rolls back ( sometimes)
I recently bought a EQS Suv 580. I use strong recuperation for the most part and i have noticed that if I take my feet off the pedal the car rolls back a bit before i hit the break. It has happened to me twice now. I tried playing around with the creep settings but that did not help. Has anyone else seen this behavior and if so any ideas on how I can prevent it from happening ?

Not really. It was in Drive mode and may have been potentially in a slightly elevated road but definitely not a hill. I had to jam the breaks pretty hard to prevent the car from rolling back.

Doesn't sound right to me. With creep on it should roll forward. With creep off it should come to a complete stop. It should only roll backward in neutral or, obviously, reverse. I'd schedule a trip to the dealer for that one but would help if you figure out under what conditions the behavior can be reproduced. Intermittent (sometimes) errors can be hard to diagnose and fix.

yes, highly disconcerting. I will schedule a service appointment but like you said if it is intermittent it is going to be a challenge. I will probably note the time and try to see if they can retrieve the logs to see if it shows anything.
