Third generation MBUX update on EQS

Third generation MBUX update on EQS
Who knows if it will be possible to update the EQS infotainment system with the third generation MBUX that mounts the new E-class just presented ... does anyone know? Can it be done with an OTA update? Have so relevant updates already been made via OTA in the past on EQS?

My experience with MB is that once you buy a unit that is pretty much the way it will stay until the day you trade it in or sell it.

Agreed, this has been the case so far. Very minor feature updates have been added in the past like the W221 got bird's eye navigation view and something similar that I cannot remember. The W223 however got zero layer as an update. Still not anything like an upgrade to the next generation car but a rather significant update anyway.
