EQS window not staying closed
New 2023 EQS 580 - 5 days after taking delivery the passenger window will not stay closed. The window closes and then immediately drops down ~4"
Holding the up position also results in the window dropping down. Trying the reset procedure (videos/online/mercedes technicians) also does not work.
Tried the factory 'reset'. Dealer has had the car 3 weeks.
They have replaced the actuator, motor, seals and now have opened a ticket with MB in GE. I have seen a few issues on forums/blogs (not on this one).
One poster stated that MB had to develop a s/w update...that seems odd as the software should be the same on all current releases (that was April of 2023).
Anyone else having an issue?

EQS window and general faults
Hi , had my 450 EQS for over a year and 15000 miles ..mine started doing this .. I had to ‘trick’ the window by closing it manually a bit at a time . Went to dealer for that and numerous other ‘teething’ problems ..they reset it , but it’s just started doing it again . Other issues I have are steering wheel heater coming on randomly when one gets in the car , steering ‘hold the wheel’ warning coming on by itself (about 5 or 6 times ) when self drive is not even activated , back door mechanisms mended 3 times then totally replaced as handle was sticking , plus several other issues I’ve forgotten about , dealer has had car for about 2 months on and off . I had their demo , for weeks , which was better , but had a few different faults/quirks . The car drives so,well , why can’t they finish it ?

Happened to me my first month of ownership. Did the standard readjustment procedure that works with most cars these days -- hold button all the way down for 10 secs and in all the way up position for 10 secs -- and it's never been a problem again. Saw a video on YouTube afterwards about the Mercedes sunroof procedure where they did windows too and learned I didn't have to hold it down/up that long but my brain is too old to remember different procedures for every car so think I'll stick with the one I already know. Oh, I did also squirt some Armor All on all the car's weather stripping so maybe that helped lubricate the window some.
