‘23 or ‘24 EQS AMG
I’ve been prowling the EQS market for months now. I have started seeing some ‘24s pop up on inventories (although a frustrating large number of them are these weird builds in Black magno with white interior.)
I’ve talked to a few dealerships who seem desperate to unload their ‘23s (I got one to say they would sell a 23 for almost 20k off MSRP).
However I kind of want a ‘24 with the improved braking and range. But nobody seems to have any allocations.
So do I take a ‘23 (at a great deal) or wait? Hmmm. What do you think?
Also anybody have any suggestions for a dealership that can do a custom order? My local dealer had one allocation and it’s already inbound (and not what I want). I’m in the PacNW.

I got a great lease deal on a 23 a couple months ago. Dealer was desperate to unload them. Got more than $20k off. Since it's 2024, you should get an even better deal. At that time, they had MBZ $7500 incentive, Amex $4500 incentive, low lease rate, and big dealer discount. I got lease for $1090 including tax and zero out the door. Car was $135k sticker.

23' EQS AMG
I have 23' April production, and the range is better than the advertised 301 miles on the 24'. I charge up to 80% and the lowest I''ve gotten is 257 miles. Most of the time, it hovers around 268-274 miles at 80% SoC. As for braking, I'm not sure there were any new hardware. If it is just programming, MB will likely push it to the 23' as well. Get the carbon ceramic if you want good braking, but it is only in the front brakes. I got one a pretty good deal of 37% off msrp for a 500 miles pinnacle with executive rear. I know of another person that got one for similar price with 100 miles on the odo, never titled.
