"E" Fuses for EQS Sedan and SUV
I don't quite understand the difference between a standard automotive blade type fuse and the fuses with an "E" suffix that are used in the EQS. I suspect that these fuses are often replaced with regular fuses since the "E" type are not readily available. I inquired about purchasing a fuse kit for the EQS from my selling dealer and was told that all the fuses are special order. In other words, if my car needed a fuse while it was being serviced, then it would be tied up for at least an extra day waiting for a fuse. I decided to order some of the fuses online from Mid-Atlantic Mercedes just in case it's important to use the "E" fuses.
I ordered a small assortment of fuses to have on hand.

For $2 I want a little Mercedes star to light up on the fuse when it blows. :P They used to make "glow when they blow" fuses.. spent $50 putting them in one of my cars. 100K miles later still hadn't blown a fuse tho, dang it.
