The Rear Cross Traffic Alert has never worked properly on my EQS, It is set to early warning with loud tone, Also tried standard, Has anyone else had this problem?

My car has glitched once or twice when backing out from the driveway with cars passing by. It literally jolted the car to a complete stop as if the car hit something, but alas, it was just the rear cross traffic alert with about 5+ feet from the street.

I have an angled driveway in one of my houses and when I first got the car and backed up with mild speed it would slam on the brakes , jolting me to no end. I learned to back up slowly and it never happened again.

I agree. It seems to work sometimes, but sometimes not. Definitely not as reliable as the system on my son's F150 or my wife's 2021 AMG GLE 53.
