2022 EQS 450+ sedan having issues charging only with electrify america chargers. I plug the charger to my car and no click sound indicating a connection. I can pull the plug without pressing any buttons. Tried on multiple different chargers and charging locations with the same results. I have no issues charging with my L2 at home or with dc chargers from evgo and chargepoint.

Yup. It's fully inserted. Even tried shaking it just in case. Even tried pressing the button prior to inserting but nothing. It charges just fine with L2 at home, chargepoint, and evgo. I was just at EA earlier and still had the same issue so I went to chargepoint and it worked.
I tried an EvGo station rated at 350kw and it also didn't work. So far, I am only able to fast charge at a 62.5kw station and I am confident a 50kw would work as well. Looks like every station 150kw and above doesn't work for my car. I am taking it in to get serviced
Interesting, never have had this issue. Have had a few stations which did not work, but it was resolved with a phone call to reset the station, or changing to another station. I wonder if you have plug and charge set up properly in your Mercedes Me app? Your delaer should have done that for you. How long have you had the car.....has this always been a problem?
it worked before. One time, a 350kw charger gave me a charging error then got stuck. Took me some time to take it out but that's when the issue started. Pretty sure something inside just broke and it's not recognizing high kw chargers. Had it work one more time after the issue started but that was it

If the High voltage was still applied to the connector and you broke the connection, this may have created and arc and damage some components relay or something else, or even created a spotted connection on the vehicle. I would guess this a possible cause of the actual behavior you experience.

Yeah, it was kinda weird. I pressed the disconnect button and I heard it disconnecting. However, the plug was still tightly in when I pulled. I pushed it back in and it clicked again then pressed the disconnect button. I did this a few times until I decided to try to give a little more force pulling it. The charging worked immediately after so I didn't think much of it at the time but I do remember that as a probably cause since I wasn't able to charge on 150kw or 350kw after. Still weird that it works with 62.5kw and below tho.
Got my car back yesterday and boy was there some work done. They found a lot of fault codes and a sensor fault on the socket.They had to get parts from Germany to replace the wiring assembly and hv socket. They charged it to 100 so I can't truly test if it now works but I hope it does.
PSA. Always check the CCS connector before plugging it in. I had a close call the other night. Charger was open and available, but the moment I pulled the connector out of the holder I smelled burnt plastic. The DC- pin was damaged, copper fragments inside, and signs of arcing. Reported it to EA and this specific unit was taken out of service.
