Yes the basic version is free. The premium version costs money. The premium version adds real-time protection and such. The free version only does on-demand scans.

Yes you get a 14 day trial for the premium. If you don't renew it reverts to the basic version.

That is exactly what I got, when I click yes it's current then the banner becomes Thank you along with something else and then when I refresh the page it closes.
not sure why yours asked for cc info.

I cancelled the 7 day free trial today for the $45/year. However, I can’t get the free version of the Malwarebytes.
