lane keep assist

Does it seem that the amount of correction force to keep you in your lane has increased ...a lot? On my way home from the store, there is a street I use because it usually has little or no traffic and I start to merge to the right turn lane without using my turn signal. It used to give some feedback, but lately it is so powerful that you almost can't fight it and either have to stay in your lane or use the turn signal.

Anyone else notice this?

Thanks!

I have noticed the same thing at times. The other day I was coming up on a bicycle in the right hand lane and when I moved to the left to avoid the bike there was a significant correction by the car to the point I thought it was going to steer me right into the cyclist. That doesn’t seem to be the universal response to me wandering into the next lane.

The good thing is its easy to fix, just use your blinkers.
I've noticed the extra effort it takes as well but if you don't use your blinker try your merge out of your lane quicker, it seems there is little resistance.

Speaking of lanes, my 2022 now has lane change assist after its recent update at the dealer...anyone else get this also? Based on previous experience in a long term loaner EQE, I don't think I'll use it, but it's good to see MB adding some features through software updates. New seat massage features, too.
