Mercedes BMS Recall for EQS/EQE

I checked the NHTSA website, and a few recalls are listed for the EQS, primarily electrical/battery stuff. None seem to match this exact BMS issue you mentioned, which is as recent as May, as indicated in the article. The ones for BMS appear to be from last year.
The article you saw might reference a similar problem, but it's hard to say without more details. Plus, if you have an EQS AMG, you might be in the clear, as no recalls are listed for those models.
But hey, no harm in double-checking! You have three easy ways to make sure:
1. Plug your VIN into the NHTSA recall tool: [[url]https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls#vin](https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls#vin)
2. Use the Mercedes-Benz recall lookup: [[url]https://www.mbusa.com/en/recall](https://www.mbusa.com/en/recall)
3.Just give your local Mercedes service department a call – they'll know for sure. Usually!

Better safe than sorry, right?
i am looking to buy used /2023 eqs suv and this vehicle had the recall which was already taken care of.
is there any reason to not move forward with this purchase? I mean this recall is just any other recall, nothing major or concerning. Correct?
