Charging port replaced by dealer and everything works fine now. I contacted MBUSA executive service primary contact at the link below first and received a response by someone else within 2 days. If that didn't work i would have contacted my way up to the CEO. MBUSA didn't ask for much info and just emailed me to contact dealer for a free replacement. Hope this helps anyone who may need it in the future. Again thanks for all the people who offered help here.
