I have a EQS 450+, in my digital lights setting, i dont see options states welcome/farewell projection. Anybody have this issue? Is it because I didn’t buy the digital extras?
the only projection I have is rainfall when I turn on and off the car.

 

As far as I understand it, you do need to buy the digital extra to get any other projection options.

 

Do you live in the US? can you show me a picture or video where you can change the projection?

See photos below from my MMe app and my car. I have the "Digital Extra" subscription. My EQE SUV was built May 2023 and is currently running MBUX E330.703_23472AC3. Some people, with newer production cars and/or newer MBUX versions have options beyond what my pictures show.

 

Yes, that is one of the features of this $100k+ car that is locked behind a paywall for no reason.
There should be a law against this type of business practice!

If it's the case that the no-subscription "default" is Rainfall, I am surprised. It seems to me that if MB were to include ONE welcome projection show, it should be something like Pixel Impact, as it splashes their name & logo every time you start the car. Free advertising...

 

you need to get MBUX update which can only be done at the Mercedes workshop, ask for being unable to favorite podcast, not able to customize digital light and brake pedal feel being off.

Mercedes has a stupid policy to update software only on complaints.

 

I have a 2023 ESQ SUV and it has a third option - User Defined or Custom Scene in App. But no way to customize scene. Any ideas anyone?
