Sorry for all the questions.... I'm just excited to get my new car and explore the features upfront.
Comfort Doors
Soft-close doors are an option on the EQS SUV, but I can't find this feature listed for the sedan. Is this a standard feature for the EQS 580 to close the driver's door by pressing the brake pedal in the US?

The EQS was launched during the pandemic. That's one of the features that never made it to production. Probably a good thing since just another doodad to act up. However, the frameless design of the door makes the door "thunk" sound pretty crappy as a result. Electric closing would have solved that. Our CRV's and Pilot's door thunk sounds categorically more refined than the one on my EQS.

2021 EQS 580 4Matic
Perhaps in the US... When I first picked up my car, the driver door would close when I put my foot on the brake. Dealer and/or Mercedes have since screwed this up for me. I also have comfort doors but Mercedes have disabled them for "safety concerns" in Portugal (?). I have a coder working on enabling these (based in Singapore) but is running into issues. One of the rear doors works perfectly with the Comfort Doors menu in the MBUX menu but he's still working on the others (seems some options are buried deep and he hasn't found them yet).
Anyway, just to say, they do exist and I really appreciated the brake / door close before it was zapped with an update.
Just to be clear - my car is an 2021 EQS 580 (first registered in Portugal) and has all of the necessary options for Comfort doors. Need to update my profile accordingly
