Battery pre condition option missing

Battery pre condition option missing
hi guys.. just wondering if its just my model year or something i need to do to have the option for battery preconditioning on MY 22 EQS 580. Its and option that if you go to your head unit, tap EQ and select charging I do not see the "HV Bat. Pre-Temp Control' option. I've never charged at public charging stations yet and have not setup mercedes me charging service.

You should be happy you don't have that option for battery pre temp control. I had it on my 2022 EQS and it activated. I charged at a public station and it forced the car into "Turtle" mode with an actual turtle symbol on the driver display. I could not drive over 50 MPH for hours until I finally figured out to do a complete system reset.
I believe that option was removed and will not be reinstated.

I guess your car still does precondition the high voltage battery if you set a DC charging station as your navigation destination.
