Both trunk cover hooks just broke off
I am in the 2nd month of my 2nd EQS (2024 model) after returning my first one after a 2-year lease. When I closed the trunk manually of a fully loaded trunk with clothing to donate (so soft cargo), both plastic hooks for the trunk cover broke off. While I obviously made a mistake of not rolling back the cover before I closed the trunk, I am surprised how little it took for both (!) hooks to brake off. Seems very poor design. I never had an issue with the older (2023) EQS, so maybe something changed for the 2024 model. Anyone had the same experience?

This happened to me on my 23 and the dealer replaced one of the hooks under warranty no questions asked.
