How quite is your EQS inside?

No one has claimed that “you can’t hear anything” and no one has claimed that it’s as quiet as a $400k luxury vehicles.
The simple fact is that most people have never been in a vehicle as quiet as the EQS.
Try lowering your expectations to reality. The list of vehicles as quiet or quieter than the EQS is very short.
I don’t need to test drive a Rolls-Royce just so that I can whine that the EQS is not as quiet as a $400k vehicle. 🤦

I found out that there are indeed differences from app to app. If anyone feels like it, they can measure it at 30 mph, 55 mph, and 75 mph.
Full list here. EVs here.
I wish they would list the tires from the test vehicle and whether it has acoustic glass and/or noise cancellation. Just looking at various figures and it seems to match up with my experience of past vehicles I have driven.

So much ambient noise comes in through the laminated windows, even before you start the car. Once driving, wind noise is fine, road noise is OK (no current car on the market passes the road noise test because makers have all insisted upon stupidly low profile tires that just ruin everything -- a 1990 Lexus LS400 came with 15" wheels and 205/65 tires, and that was a quiet car).
The sounds that annoy me most are just ambient noises from passing cars while sitting at a traffic light, etc. It just sounds like the window is cracked open a bit. My Audi e-tron Prestige was dead silent and built like an absolute tank. I miss it. (But I don't miss its crap range and quirky, buggy software.)
So, yeah, the EQS doesn't match the top EV competition, and doesn't match the quality of an S class. I do enjoy the car, but this distracts from the experience for sure.
