Update communication module 01/16/25 ?

On my Mercedes Android app, it says the Communications Module software update was installed on my 2024 GLC300 on "1/2/0001". If you click on the update section of the app, it expands and explains what this update is for. "Product improvements will be implemented and robustness increased". We'll see if it enables Mercedes Tech Experts to study the cars, and ultimately develop a "fix" that will keep my "check engine" light from staying illuminated on occasion, when the outside temp is below 30 degrees. -Allen in Chicago

Last month, my Check Engine light was on. Mercedes Tech Department diagnosed the problem while my car was just sitting in the driveway, not running.
This is my first Mercedes. I suppose the company's "closeness" to the customer can be good, or bad.
