After 45000 miles, the battery has degraded 4%. Not bad at all! This despite the vehicle being driven in subzero temperatures on a regular basis (it does however live in a temperature controlled garage). Note that the quickest rate of degradation is in the first 50k miles or so. Every day, Im more impressed with the EQS. The car has never needed a service visit other than to fix a broken widow and windshield.

Great data point!
Just curious - did you do a lot of DC charging or very little?

How did you measure the degradation?

Its measured from the battery data that MB gets. The program is used by the energy department to access MB data on your vehicle. You get a report every mth or so. The data is restricted to battery parameters.

I would say maybe 35 or a little more. Since I live in mid WI, most of my trips other than around town take at least 1 if not 2 DC stops per round trip. For me, it has been really hard to do 20 to 80 chraging. Living in a place where running out of juice is not an option, I regularly charge to 100% at home before a trip. I also tend to charge to 90 on DC since the EQS charge time to 90 is just a few minutes more than 80. Now that Tesla chargers are widely available, I'm attempting to be less concervative with my charging. When I got the vehicle in 22, my nearest DC charger was at least 100 miles away!

35%? Or do you mean for 35,000 of the 45,000 miles?

So exactly which parameter in the Recurrent report is giving you the battery degradation? Are you using the range score?

103% Range Score??

That is +1% /year. I assume this is a "now" calculated value vs. the theoretical value at the start.

In our Recurrent report for our 2021 Kia Niro EV with 42K miles on it provides a range score value of 95 (within the last year it was 103). Is this the number that is being refered to?
