Ozone smell after charging

I've had my 2022 EQS sedan for about three months. Every time I charge at home there's a strong ozone smell in the garage afterwards. I have an Emporia level 2 charger, hard wired. Charging works fine. Nothing seems to be getting hot, and I'm pretty sure it's an ozone smell, not overheating plastic. I thought maybe it would go away, but it's not.

I am no expert. If you only smell it associated with charging I would investigate further. A google search indicates that ozone is produced as a result of electrical discharge passing through air (ie arcing).

Agree. Having lived through a garage fire, I would pull things apart and look for evidence of arcing and overheating before the smoke and fire start. There should be no smell when charging. If you don't have a heat gun, they are cheap, and can give you a definite place to start.
