EQS EQS (V297) sedan

Digital Extras notification?

Digital Extras notification?

I got some sort of "Digital Extras" notification on my phone today via the Mercedes-Benz app. I can't find anything more about it. My subscription is current, and I'm about 5 months into it, so I should not be getting "renew now" notifications. Anyone else get a notification and know what it's about? Did they take MORE features away?

Is it just the stupid Lifestyle Collection Labor Day sale notification? What a waste.

They make periodic updates that trigger a notification that the Digital Extras have changed. You can look up your services in the app and see if anything got deactivated. Valet Protect and Personaliation have been discontinued recently, but they should remain active for current subscriptions until the next renewal. I'm in the process of letting my subscription expire, but both of these services are no longer listed on the renewal page for me, so that confirms that they've been discontinued.

Interesting. So far, I think I see all of the same services, and they're all active (including valet/student modes). I'm not sure I ever had the headlight personalization features...

I guess they expect that we can remember all 18 services that we had and be able to do a visual difference to see if we had anything added or removed. I would rather be notified exactly what changed rather than a generic message.

...and I'm still getting notifications that I must bring my car in IMMEDIATELY for service so that they can replace the battery in my key fob. I'm not kidding, I am serious, I already replaced the battery, and don't call me Shirley.

i dont know if it will work but did you place the key in centre console key place where there is nfc reader, maybe car will update itself with new battery level

That sounds like good advice, and I'll give it a try with both key fobs, as they both have new batteries. The weird thing is that the car isn't communicating anything to me. Not in the car, not in the app. I'm only getting notifications from the dealer that I need to replace my key fob battery.
