MyQ App Installation - EQE(X) 2025
Hey everyone,
I’m driving a 2025 EQE I picked up about a month ago and have been trying to get MyQ working for garage door control. I followed all the steps from the official MyQ website — but when I say “Hey Siri, open MyQ” or try to install the app from the suggested link (the “Find Apps” or “Install App from...” option in MBUX), nothing shows up.
I even raised a support ticket with Mercedes, and the frontline rep (clearly reading from a PDF somewhere offshore 😅
told me that “none of the third-party apps work.” That sounded absurd — I see other owners using MyQ and similar integrations just fine.
So… has anyone here actually installed MyQ successfully on an EQE or EQS (or any of the newer models)? I’m assuming it’s a software feature, not hardware-restricted — though I could be wrong.
Would really appreciate if someone could share the exact steps or confirm whether this feature has been pulled back or region-limited.

Dumb question, but I gotta ask. Is your garage door opener setup for MyQ? Some Chamberlain and lift-master models don’t have the feature.
