Maps update

Have a quote to update my very old maps on a 2023 EQS. Why it has t been updating OTA I’m not sure. They told me it isn’t a warranty issue, so it’s $270.

Thats crazy. I loaded update maps on my S450 once and it was super easy.

Anyone have a way to do that?

I have a 2023 EQS 580 which has not received an OTA map update either. I even had the dealer work on this issue when my car was in the shop for a windshield replacement. Still haven’t received an OTA map update. I have updated the maps myself by manually downloading the maps to a usb stick and then inserting the stick in the car. It takes a bit of searching to find the download site but open up the Mercedes page on your pc and I think you go to digital extras and it should be under map updates. You need a clean usb stick for the process to work. I have done it at least 4 times for my 2023 EQS. I end up downloading all the maps instead of a particular region.
To charge you $270 is a joke. I’m surprised they didn’t tell you about manual download. You have to have current subscription to digital extras to do this.

I’ve looked everywhere in my map and after logging in to MBUSA and I just can’t find it. Anyone have a method of getting to the maps download page? It doesn’t seem to be in digital extras for me and I have all of them.

I think this is an EU document, but it may be relevant for you for manual map updates. Worth a look, in my opinion.

Unfortunately didn’t work for me. I may have done something wrong. The link in the other post worked perfectly.

Superswiss thanks for posting link. I just got to Florida so I had to get out on the golf course today before I could find the link. Even though my car basically doesn’t leave the Florida region, I download all the maps because it streamlines things and it seem to be quicker as well. When I first started downloading back in 23 I would run into several errors. I think Mercedes has improved the process quite a bit whereas downloading it manually is not a difficult process at all.
