Not sure if I’d buy tires that can’t tolerate ambient temperatures below 45F.

Should you list the price. The website changes and we won't know what was "great." When I looked, the prices were $375+, so not that great of a price for UTqG 280 AAA.

When I ordered them they were $180 each. They were older tires they had in stock, but the tires on an EQS 580 don’t last long enough to worry about that.

Well, it is a summer tire. Presumably you would switch to your winter tires before the temperatures started dropping.

One doesn't need winter tires in Dallas. That being said the coldest average low temperature is 39°F in January. It is a bit lower than the warranty coverage for cracking, but after driving a mile the tire temp should be much higher. I'm in Florida but my winter tire temperatures rise more than 20°F above ambient temperature of 80°F to more than 100°F after the first mile. After the second mile they are at normal operating temperature of > 110°F.

Living in Phoenix I try to get Z-rated or higher tires to handle 115F days. They handle high temperatures better than the slower rated tires.

My life depends on my tires and brakes. I do not skimp when I purchase replacements.
The last set of tires I purchased were Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S.
