C180 coupe not starting first time.
Hi guys,
I hope someone here is able to help me.
I have a 2001 (51 reg) C180 coupe, for the last few months it has struggled to start first time, however, it always starts eventually - normally 2nd or 3rd time.
The fuel pump has been replaced but it doesn't seem to have solved the problem (despite costing me over £300!).
I would be really grateful if anyone can offer any advice or suggestions.

Is the fuel pump OEM ? are you ok with the provider ? if you leave the vehicle for a longer time in a place is there anything left on the ground like from a leak ?
Check the hoses for firm fitting, check fuel lid for proper closing. If everything ok go to next parts: electromotive, bendix usually the bendix gets used and has spots when doesnt grips so seems like its him coz of 2nd 3rd key works, sparkplugs, But really try a diagnose with xentry or someone in the field that knows (look for customer feedback, forums and stuff in you area/country)
