C43 production delays
Hi all
Does anyone have insights about production delays? Ordered C43 in August for sept delivery. Dealer has pushed out delivery date several times and last said it was because my car was selected for ‘extensive emissions testing’. Due to arrive tomorrow but told it’s now another month and maybe as late as December. Something isn’t right. . . . Anyone with similar issue please?

I see nobody was able to help you on this... Did you manage to find any info elsewhere?
Which dealership are you using? Did they get back to you? To be expecting your car the next day and then to have it pushed back another month is crazy.
I almost ordered the C43 myself but ultimately found that I was more comfortable in an e-class. My car's on order, and I'm hoping not to face any delays. I already hate not having an exact ETA for my car, but to have the goal posts moved on me.... I'd be loosing my mind.

Good of you to reply. I’m now told MB have held back 700,000 cars for emissions reasons but no more. Delayed now until mid Nov-mid Dec. Not helpful but what can I do .... in the meantime the dealer has me in a loan vehicle, for which I’m grateful.

It's good of them for sure, to provide you with a loaner. However, 700,000 cars held back is quite alarming.
Hope we both get our cars soon!
