How did you finance your ED Mercedes? (Esp. GLC 300)
I'm doing an ED GLC 300 with pick-up on 6/22 in Stuttgart. My question is related to financing. I'm purchasing the vehicle with ~ $20-22K down from my Acura TSX Sport Wagon trade and cash. Mercedes-Benz Finance apparently has great rates for some (most?) models but my dealer says not the GLC300. My local credit union was going to finance a dealer lot purchase in January and quoted me 2.82%. The dealer says MB Finance will be much higher than that on a GLC300 because they are so "hot".
MB Finance obviously has experience with ED and all the quirks (namely lacking a bill of sale and title for 60-90 days after the funds are needed). Do you know of any banks that will accept these conditions as well?
I theoretically could finance through MB Finance at non-competitive rates and then when the car is here refinance through my local CU at market rates. I'm fine doing that as long as my CU will sync the credit pull with when MB finances does it so I don't have multiple requests spanning months for essentially the same loan (especially since they did a pull in January when I was going to buy a lot model).
How did other people do it? I wish they would offer market rates on GLC. That is surprising to me.

I've got EDP of a GLC 300 scheduled for April 24th. I plan to finance initially with MB because of the quirks you mention...and then refi with my credit union once the vehicle is titled the rates are better (which I expect).
