Full Coverage Insurance on ED Vehicle Not Here Yet
I just signed the MBFS loan on my '17 GLC300 that I'm picking up in 3 weeks from STR. The cost variance of insurance between my Acura and the GLC is $60/month. Assuming 2-3 months to get here, if I keep the older car on my policy, that saves me $120-180. But is MBFS going to make me add full coverage on it right away even though I don't have it in possession and it is covered by the caretakers who have it now and will transport it?

GLC300..waiting on EDP delivery
I also did a partial finance through MBFS. My GLC is sitting in Brunswick waiting to clear Customs. I have not added it to my auto policy yet and MBFS has not given me any grief over it.
I don't plan to add it until the day I pick up from the dealer.....hopefully soon.
It's covered by marine insurance during transport and the logistics company is responsible for getting it to your dealer in good shape.
