I will try to ask and report back about how a non-EDP person can get into tours. I just Googled "mercedes benz factory tour sindelfingen germany" and a lot comes up there.
If one is ordering an EDP car your salesperson should set you up, presuming they know how. [Sales craft like "know how" is just one of the many reasons I chose Herbert Haemmer of MBZ of Escondido, California for my EDP pick up next month.] Herbert has me set up for some sort of special delivery ceremony (we changed delivery date just to get me into that), as well as a Sindelfingen factory tour, both on May 17th and an AMG factory tour on the 18th.
