i don't think mercedes dealers would be able to host us. wouldn't they have to clear their whole parking lot/inventory to fit all of us.

but the best thing to do is to contact a pr guy at mbusa.

Folks, I predict this AMG meet will never find a home. However, you are all welcome to simply join the NJ meet (see associated thread). No track events, but simply a meet and greet and food and booze.

Well never take predictions from Rbrenton, lol... We have found a home... MBUSA has agreed to host us at MBUSA HQ... A new thread will be developed with more details... a site and flyers will also be in the works... Get ready for a slammin time folks... We're having a meet!!!!

BTW what city in N.J. is MBUSA HQ? also do they have a track there, and what day of the week will it be on? i prefer sunday.

YA! Me and my 5.4L enhanced C43 plan on being there ... hopefully by then the speedybenz suspension will be in too!

you are correct sir... mercedes was not able to accomidate us for sunday so it must be on saturday... More details to come and a new thread as well to get this mess of a bunch of posts out of the way

Right now there is nothing planned for sunday... Im finding it difficult to get in touch with E town Raceway. We are also looking into setting up some type of a road course in a parkinglot.

So to directly answer your question, NO there is no track event scheduled BUT I and the others are looking in to it

Have this event in Providence RI . We dont even need the a track its just a meetup and showcase your car session. If we need a track the expressway is our track.

yeah I am going to have to agree with fong on this one... While for small meets this may be ok... This event will have media coverage and that wouldnt be good. A track event would be far safer then something like that
