I will be meeting C43AMG on friday for a meeting with Rob Allan at Mercedes Benz US Headquarters. Next weekend we will have our official lay out and plan.

As of right now there will be no Track event. After numerous attemtps to contact englishtown Raceway the track manager has not returned any calls or emails. When I go down next weekend I will attempt to see about getting some other track interested in hosting our event. WE WILL HAVE AN EVENT FOR SUNDAY!!!

there are also several groups not on any forums that have contacted me... including a 126 owners group in jersey and possible group headed up from Maryland(currently only a couple folks from MD comin up)

Here it is... think of this as your trailer to yhe upcoming AMG mercedes weekend swiftly approaching us.

First off there is now a deadline for registration of September 21st!!! If your name is not in on time you will be not admitted to MBUSA HQ, but can participate to in the rest of the weekend. Also this goes without saying... open to mercedes vehicles only. That is a non flexable rule, set but mercedes themselves.

We are limiting this event to 100cars a number we are not near so dont worry.

Our meeting with Rob and his staff went very well. Mercedes is going to great lengths to make this event a memorable one!!! Doors to MBUSA will open around 9am.

Some type of breakfast/ coffee combo will be served. A small car show/member showcase will take place where all those who attend will vote for those cars they like best. There will be different types of car classes for everyone to see and compete in. There will be photo oppurtunities with a car that we all could dream to imagine few could afford(one of the most expensive vehicles mercedes produced and the hottest in recent history), there will be a show case of AMG technology available no where else accept to those with in the industry.

Lunch will be provided by our hosts as well. After lunch a 45minute presentation will be presented to us. After the presentation we will have a short Q&A with a representative from an industry leading PARTNER and another representative CLOSELY linked to AMG technology and future plans of Mercedes Benz USA. Prior to the Day's end there will be a short award ceremony and reflection up on the day's event.

This should be complete by approximately 3:30 in the afternoon. There will be prizes and gifts for everyone.

For those who are already signed up could you please send me your information that mercedes is looking for via PM or preferably email to NortheastAMG@yahoo.com. This is for an accurate head count and for the first competition amongst all those who attend.

1. Which day (Sat, Sun, Mon) is the MBHQ day happening on?
2. What is the plan/agenda for the other days?
3. What are other people doing about traveling down, staying overnight,etc?

The MBHQ day is on Saturday. I have to call back the Parkridge Marriot(across the street from MBUSA) and The Hilton Woodcliffe lake(about 10minutes away) for group rates. As far as me and a few of the other Boston Cars, we will probably leave friday night or EARLY saturday morning. It should take about 3-4hours to get down there. The event starts at 9am.

Drive down on Friday night is okay, Sat AM is okay also. I just need the meet up point as I am to the south of Boston. 3 hours drive time if we don't get stopped. Can we black stripe their parking lot? High quality stripes of course.

Heres the update for the MD people. I'm starting to get people together for this since we now have a set date/time/place. I'm in for Sat (Oct. 8th right?). People that I'm sure are coming: Me (CLK430), Lowphat (Kleemann CLK430), Biz (500E), Mario (C32), fongflex (C32), and Leo (C320). There are ALOT more maybe's that I will try to talk to ASAP (wouldn't be surprised to see over 10 cars from our group head up there).
Blk-SLK32, you can join us on the cruise up ther if you would like.

Talked to a few more people, looks like we are gonna have a nice turnout. Reserve at LEAST 10 spots for the MD/DC/VA crew. I will try to get all their info together. My girls bday is on the 9th so I gotta come back to MD then. Anyway, I convinced her to buy a SLK32 so maybe she'll come too
