By far, pretty cool. They just wanted to ensure this wasn't going to turn out into some donut-fest (no pun intended).
The event was free, the raffle was free, we were all eating lunch at TJ's, so all was cool !

you guys wore me out.... didn't take a single picture during the meet... didn't get to walk around and see the cars... finally got a couple of beers and some dinner and realized I was at an MB Meet.... ran and grabbed my camera out of my car, which btw was parked at the farthest-most point of the lot... no respect.... organize a meet, and couldn't even get VIP Rock-Star Front Row First Class parking... who put this thing together ????
anyway, ran back, and i took 3 pictures of my own car, cause everyone was already gone !
Oh well, I guess I better plan another meet !

It's always sad to come to the end of a meet. I kinda wish no one would leave, but not everyone lives in a Mercedes-Benz Fantasy World like I do. You stick around waiting til the last person leaves, thinking, maybe they're all just around the corner, and are gonna drive back in to the lot. But all in all, at the end of the day... I took a deep breath, walked over to my car, (still gives me goose bumps when I see it) sat there for a few minutes, made sure the right song came on over the speakers, and then blasted out hoping to meet up with someone driving a Benz. Took about hour & 1/2 to get home, jumped in the jacuzzi, had a couple of drinks, *** censored stuff ***, stayed up late to watch the final Formula 1 Grand-Prix of the season, rooting on Kimi all the way. (3rd Place, no Constructor's Title, but a great season for Kimi and McLaren-Mercedes). Went to sleep... and just woke up a few minutes ago, to find this thread !

If that were a donut fest Mikey would've been all over that like cops and donuts! lol When i first pulled in i was following the 203 crew and then Eric said oh you need to park where that AMG sign is. I'm like why? Cuz you have one of those special cars. So i was uummm ok. :p Don't worry Carlos. Start planning the next one and i'll make sure you park beside the special() car.

With the huge success of our last 2 meets ( San Diego & O.C.), i guess we can call the regular monthly meets we attend, mini-meets. And there will be some mini-meets in the coming months in various areas, some set up by "THE BENZ GROUP", others by individuals, and others by Euro Clubs (BMW, Audi, VW, etc....) However, the next BIG MEGA MB meet put on by "THE BENZ GROUP" will most likely take place in late Feb / early March in the Los Angeles area. Stay tuned for more information on all MB online sites.

and things pop into my head in random sequences.....

1. THE BENZ GROUP
Thanks to Ramil, Eric, Chris, Lisa, and Sean for helping me pull this great event off without a hitch... We have learned a lot together, we have worked hard together. Not everything is as smooth when we deal with different personalities and styles, but our common goal was achieved, and any hiccups were just that. Lessons learned to make our next events even better & greater ! You guys are awesome !

2. Every single one of you who showed up !
This meet was for you gals/guys, and the meet would have been nothing without you guys/gals. 15 online Mercedes-Benz sites were pretty much SPAMMED to publicize this meet, and the outcome was quite obvious.
Over 150 Mercedes-Benz vehicles came out to the event ! We will have the official count after we review the videos, but no matter what the number turns out to be, you know who you are if you were there... and until the next great MB meet outshines this one, it will be known as the BEST EVER, and YOU were a part of it !! I thank each and every one of you !

3. Special Cars:
- Bob (Fletcher Jones) Thanks so much for bringing out the 2006 R500
- Mark Cummins - the SMART.... what can you say ? Everyone LOVES it !

5. evosport
Thanks to Brad, Simon, & Vadim (and yes, Vic you too ! ) for bringing their awesome evosport machinery to the meet.
MBWorld.org stickers were given away for FREE, and it was great to see so many of you with them already on the car, before the meet was even over !
Also, all those die-cast models were courtesy of evosport, so if you won one, please send them a special thank you !!

6. PALA Resort & Casino
Special gratitude to Jamie Anderson, who generously gave us a super raffle give-away: One night stay and dinner for 2 at the PALA Resort & Casino.
His enthusiasm and support for our meet and raffle was awesome ! Those of you who signed up on his VIP list, I highly encourage you to give Jamie a call and make his time and effort to help up on this meet, completely worthwhile.
Thank you also Tony, for helping in setting up the deal with PALA.

7. House of Power
Special thanks to Josh_K and Josh_R for bringing their special MB machinery to the meet. Also, many of you won a free DYNO Run Session at HoP.
I know you will enjoy that, and at the same time acquire some pointers on how to best optimize your engine's output. Please make sure to thank Josh & Josh when you see them, and let us know how well your car is tuned !

8. EuroTuner Magazine
Thanks to SilvaC32 who arranged for EuroTuner to come out and document our event. An unexpected treat, and hopefully give us some fuel to plan bigger and better Mercedes-Benz events for all of you to enjoy !

9. HPS Engineering
Thank you Adam, for once again, coming over with your MB machinery and demonstrating how great our MB community really is. Innovative products and engineering ingenuity always capture the passion of the true Mercedes-Benz enthusiast. Thanks HPS ! We definitely need more V8's to represent !

10. Volunteers
