SoNiC,
I did not have you on the Meet Sign-Up list.
Next time, please let me know you want to sell something at a BENZ GROUP meet.

Thank you.

Many thanks to Carlos and
Eric for creating such a nice event. I met a lot of nice folks, had a great day.

Thanks also to the guy who brought the
R class for a look. The fella with the Smart was a particularly nice guy.

Thanks to whoever convinced the Irvine PD that only non Mercedes-Benz products should be ticketed.

1st you are welcome. you are also welcome to join in some of the other FUN things i am setting up. just check this section of events and gatherings. i believe there is one about laguna seca. read that baby. i also went and checked out a site for the IE crowd. the IE folks wanted to do an invent in the IE. i have found a perfect place and the owner would welcome us with open arms.

2nd) on the police thang i believe since i confirmed this with both guys, both tony who owned the b55 slk and the gentleman that brought the r class had some nice words for the police officers and they decided to tell us just to remove the cones. i'll take that any day instead of shutting us down.

The R500 was brought by Bob, and courtesy of FLETCHER JONES. The SMART belongs to Mark Cummins and can answer just about anything about the SMART.
Actually, Bob and I handled the police situation,
and it was centered around 2 things: Charging of event fees and raffle (which we did not), and patronizing the restaurant (which we did). So no harm no foul.
Lieutenant Gerard asked me to move the cones leading to other businesess on the premises, and move the raffle tent back about 2 feet.

That's it?

And I was thinking the PD were going to start ticketing for all the "illegal" mods, exhibition of speed, no front license plates, etc., etc., etc...

Nice work guys!

Beemaze,

Are you plan to go to that import show on the 29th (Saturday) that you were telling me about it at the meet? I definitely plan to go since i'm not doing anything. I know Lisa want to go too but not sure if her plan are still on. I still go even if i go alone.

Any MB/AMG clubs in the orange county area....
I'm fairly new to this site and would like to know when there is going to be another socal meet. I have recently bought a cls55 and was wondering if there were any orange county mb/amg clubs that are in the orange county area.

you should watch the events and gatherings section.

there is a go kart meet in corona on dec 3rd

there will be a willow springs race day in feb.

those are two that i know of. just go thru the above section and look for events that interest you.

Newport Coast
Just make sure that you get down to Newport Coast on a Saturday morning. And make sure your ride is nice and shinny! You won't be disappointed!

Its not really an MB meet. more of an exotics meet, and old vintage cars.

But either way its worth going- just dont park your car in the mess or they will give you dirty looks like they do to PerzBenz

there are only a few Mercedes-Benz only meets per year in SoCal.
Usually, one in Orange County, one at the Rose Bowl (Pasadena), and one in San Diego.

For summer 2006 (mid-July / early August) stand by for:

BENZ FEST 2006

...already working those details from Cuba & Afghanistan.

By the way, keep an eye out for the FEBRUARY issue of
EURO TUNER magazine.
If your car was at the October 15th MB Meet,
it may appear in the photos.
