AMG_55 - why don't you come out to the Calabasas meet on the 30th and we can all do a canyon run after. Mark is coming to the meet as well, so it should be perfect. I also have some other friends that might be interested. Check my other thread for the "EuroSunday" meet for info if you can make it. Let me know and we'll arrange something.

i had a sport model (i guess they all are) as a loaner from caliber motors and that thing really hangs and its easy to drive because of the soft suspension setup
i was staying in touch with my friend in an evo through benedict canyon.. he slowed on the straights and waited for me
the 230 comes out of corners really fast because it has good midrange and it's very easy to put the power down even before you hit the apex because u know that the rear isnt going anywhere... if anything itll understeer (esp off, always.. even in my car)
good fun
especially if its not yours :v

How does Sunday October 30th sound for you guys? The "EuroSunday" meet starts around 9-9:30 and ends around 11ish, so either do a run early in the morning and end at the meet or we can go after the meet. If we get together in Calabasas, we can go through the Santa Monica Mountains cruise down PCH and then back. What do you guys think? Would that work?

There is a sick canyon run where i live, but the cops are starting to crack down because of the damn ricers going up there and crashing. ![wall](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/banghead.gif)
BTW just got back from a crazy night. Went to the club, got back around 2, realized there was nothing to eat in the house so i went to my friends 24 hour subway in westwood. Got a Chicken Tereyaki, on the way down i cruised at a clean 130 with a white 00-02 S500, it was fun, i missed my exit by 15 miles.
Then on the way home from subway i decide to take sunset home and run through those canyons alittle bit. The fog is crazy tonight, id say about 15 foot infront in certain areas. Where i did 130 it was clear so no bashing.
No i didnt do 130 this was all made up....including the subway sandwhich im not eating, and it is not delicious.

I'm in as long as it's in November.
Great idea on the run. I have wanted to do this for a while.

well, I will confirm the canyon run for next week.
Date: Sunday October 30th
Meet at: Village Coffee Roaster in Calabasas
23351 Mulholland Dr.
Woodland Hills, CA 91364
http://villagecoffeeroaster.com/events/eurosunday.php
As for time, I will need some input from you guys. I think the morning would be better and that way the cars can get a "rest" at the meet. However, there are two issues...one being the chance of fog early in the morning and two - will it be too early for those driving out here? say if we start at 8am?
So either start between 7:30-8am and end at the meet around 9ish OR start the run after the meet (say around 11am), but take the chance on traffic.
Please check my other thread "EuroSunday" for info on the meet.
I hope I have enough brakes to last this run since I'm already low.

Given the chance of fog and wet roads in the canyons...after would be better(plus i dont like getting up at 7am on sundays!!!). Route: Mulholland, stunt, shueren, piuma, cold canyon, mulholland past the rockstore, up the snake to the overlook, kanan, latigo, pch...lunch at Dukes in malibu...that should pretty much do it!!!
