Hello,

This message is being sent out to people who showed interest in the All
German Car Show that the Central Ohio Section of the MBCA is hosting. Here
is a summary of the planned event:

- Sunday, August 4th
- Dublin, Ohio (www.dublin.oh.us)
- Wyndham Hotel (http://www.wyndham.com/Dublin/default.cfm)

- Clean Car Contest for each brand: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, VW.
Awards provided for each brand. Winners are decided by a group of judges.
Entering this automatically makes the car eligible for Best of Show. Entry
fee = $5.
- Best of Show Contest (or People's Choice). One award given for Best
of
Show. Winner decided by popular vote. Ballots handed out upon
registration. You need not enter in the Clean Car Contest to be eligible
for Best of Show. Entry fee = $5.
- Display Only Category. Not eligible for any awards. Will not be judged
in any way. Entry fee = No Cost
- Awards funded by Ed Potter's Mercedes Benz.

- Judging begins at 12:00 noon. We hope to keep cars through 3:00pm or
later.
- Register your cars and pay fees upon arrival.
- If showing a car in any category, arrive around 10:00am.
- A fire hydrant with a 3 hose adaptor will be available for washing cars.
- Cars can be parked in grass or on pavement, please specify when you
arrive.
- Show participants can bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages.
- The hotel has a nice restaurant.
- The lobby restrooms in the hotel are available for participants to use.
- We will have a room in the hotel available if show participants need
it
to change clothes, get out of the heat, use a more private restroom, or
what
ever.

- If viewing the show as a spectator, arrive at 12:00 noon or after.
- We will have some dealership merchandise catalogs and vehicle accessory
catalogs available.
- Some car clubs will have club enrollment information available.
- We hope to have a few new cars on display from Ed Potter's Mercedes Benz
and Midwest Auto Group.

If you or someone you know is attending this event AND has experience
judging in Clean Car contests or Shine 'N Show events, please contact me.
We are trying to finalize our list of judges. If you would like to learn
how to do this, we could educate a few people in the process.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the show. The above
web sites should provide adequate directions for travel. If traveling from
out of town, the host hotel is booked, but there are others within close
driving distance. Thank you for your interest and participation. We hope
you enjoy the event.
