GA3S and SELOC bring you: South East Track Day 2006!!! Atlanta!!!
Did not pre register so I won't get a T-shirt. Reading the rules do you have top have long pants and long sleeve shirt? I don't have a helmet either
(will someone rent or loan me one? (I washed my hair last Sunday and my lice are under control http://www.southeasttrackday.com/
Helmet should be no problem, but last I heard, Silver Dollar rents them as well. I am planning on meeting at 8am at The Varisty (downtown) for the caravan down.
If you have FRS radios (walkie-talkies), bring one or two as there is usually some funny chat exchanged on the way down.
One other thing: TURN OFF your A/C when you get to the track!
(lol...ask me how I know)
(will someone rent or loan me one? (I washed my hair last Sunday and my lice are under control I usually try to bring a towel to wipe the numbers off my windows when I leave. Bring a FRS radio if you have one, it might be useful if caravaning down there or back home. If you plan to take out the spare tire or anything to reduce weight, you might bring a plastic tarp to lay it on. If you want to experiment with tire pressure, bring some kind of pump.
Its too late to pre-register but we have tons of room and I'll see if we can throw in the t-shirts still.
Thanks for your support, see you all Sunday!

Still not sure if I am going to be able to make it. If I am I will meet up with everyone at the Varsity on Sunday morning.

Looks like I have cleared out my schedule for tomorrow and will be able to make it. 12.8 @ 110 here I come
Looking to be the fastest stock SLK32
I am very tired, and burned, lol so I will keep it brief.
Thank you so much to Christy, Travis and the GA3S team for giving us the opportunity to team together. It went so well, we are already in talks for a 2nd event in the fall.
Thank you to EVERYONE that participated and made it happen!! We could not have done it without your support. It was great to see old faces, new faces, familar cars and new ones and so many other clubs/car forums there. I am sure the drive back and to the track gave people some grins

Thanks to Silver Dollar for having a GREAT track, prepped and read to go and awesome workers.
Congratulations to all our winners, we will post all the names later with times. Clark Gable won first with $525 for his 10.7 second 1/4 mile run!!

Perhaps next time I will get that jet engine in place.
Wait a minute...... a jet engine may fit into the back of our E55 wagon!!!!!
Limited mods, it could work!

Thanks again for inviting us! It was a very fun day.
Next time I will bring out our E55T wagon on drag radial and see if it can get in the 11's. It ran 12.5 last time it was at Silver Dollar on stock rubber. 60' times were 2.0 and 2.1, traction was a huge problem that Sunday!
