Calling the Greater Houston Area

Benzoboi held a meet just a few weeks back, but sadly, many including I, didn't make it.

It's spring break, and I was thinking of a cruise or something this weekend. If it doesn't work out this weekend, well, we can choose one of the weekends. I know there are a lot of AMG guys out here, so show us your beasts. I would love to see all kinds of Mercedes come out and play.

Just to start off, we can meet somewhere and cruise to the Baytown track or some restaurant or something. Ideas?

You Houston Benz owners seem pretty quiet. Just kidding.

Oh man, I didn't even see this post until today. We did have one AMG guy come to the GTG, I didn't get his name and he left in a hurry. Well, if a cruise is what you're interested in, MBCA is having something called a Bluebonnet Run, they're gonna go out I-10 West, exit somewhere past Sealy and go through some small towns. That's all I know. But I think the summertime would be best for a cruise.

I don't know, Houston summers are real heaters.

You have to be a member to participate in any MBCA events right? I know there are plenty of MB enthusiasts and owners around H-town.

Let me know if you have any ideas, benzo.

Houston's WINTERS can be steamers too! :-D

Most of us have got working A/C, operating power windows and working sunroofs right? I think a summer cruise won't be so bad. I think a cruise down to Galveston would be cool, do it during the evening when its a little cooler. Or, we could stay close to town and circle the loop in a long line of MBs. The loop thing may sound a little boring, but I don't have many ideas right now.
